Jason William Collins passed away June 28, 2022 at the age of 42 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 28, 1979 in Gainesville, FL.
Some of Jason’s passions included karate, which he earned a black belt in, cheering on the Jaguars and Seminoles, and wrestling.
Jason graduated from Sandalwood High School in 1998. He was known for his dedicated work ethic at Carabba's where he worked alongside friends that became family for over 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Crystal and her extended family; his beautiful daughters Alexus, Alyssa and Alera; his mother Lisa Haley; grandparents Rosine Dolinski, Larry and Sharon Moulton, and Phyllis Haley; sister Marena Haley; father Bill Collins and his family; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jason lived by the values instilled in him by his grandfather William Dolinski (1948-2011) and his step father Jeff Haley (1962-2021) who preceded him. Jason’s greatest joy in life was watching his three daughters grow into young accomplished women.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, in the chapel of Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home.
