James Winston (Win) Thomason passed away on February 2, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Win was born March 2, 1941 in Spartanburg, SC. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lynn; daughters, Kathryn Sennati (Marino), Frances Slade (Shawn); granddaughter, Karina; Sister, Mary Thrift; and several nieces and nephews.

Winston graduated from North Charleston High School, then Citadel with a business degree, and Central Michigan with a master’s degree. He also served 25 years in the USAF, retiring as a Major.
