James R. McGarry, Jr.

On May 30^th, 2022, James Robert McGarry, Jr., 64, of Palm Coast, Florida went to be with His Savior in eternal peace. Jim was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many. Through hard work and determination, he achieved great success in his chosen field of sales, eventually rising to the level of Director of Sales for Solera Inc. formerly ADP Claims Solutions Group. His greatest success, however, was in the many interpersonal relationships he built with those whom he came in contact, always encouraging them to do their best and make the most of their lives. As his health waivered, he devoted his efforts to raising funds for the National Kidney Foundation to help others afflicted as he was. A lifelong fan of the Florida Gators, his love for the University of Florida was only overshadowed by his enduring love for his wife, daughter, and family.

Jim is predeceased by his mother Mary Jo McGarry and daughter Ericka Lloyd. He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Angel McGarry, Father James McGarry Sr., two brothers, Gerard and William, and their children.

Jim was a passionate, kind, caring person whose greatest achievement was the positive impact he had in the lives of all who knew him.  He will be greatly missed by his wife, family, and friends.

A memorial service and celebration of Jim’s life will be held in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral home June 25, 2022, at 10 am. It will also be livestreamed by the family, to watch click the link below at time of service.
