James Henry

James “Jim” Henry, age 92, passed away on February 2, 2017.  Jim was born in Pittsburgh, PA.  He served in the Navy during WWII as a Gunner’s Mate. After his time in the service he worked in security at Kennedy Space Center.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Lois Henry and his sisters Greta, Kathleen and Sally. He is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Hatchcock (Jacksonville) and Margie Daugherty (Melbourne); brothers, Robert (Jennie), Joe (Jeanne), and William; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Though he spent most of his life in Florida, he remained a loyal Steelers fan. He also enjoyed playing golf and all things ice cream. Jim loved to make others laugh, as his normal greeting was a quick dance and song rather than the typical hello.

Interment services will be held at a later date.
