BRAY James Jim Bray passed away December 26, 2015. He was born May 24, 1932 in Flint, MI. After graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, he went to work for Gulf & Western (Associates). He transferred to Jacksonville in 1962 and lived in Neptune Beach since 1974. Jim opened and owned the law firm Bray & Singletary, P.A. from 1974 until 2014. Jim was a member of the Florida Bar for 51 years and an AV-rated attorney for the last 30 years. He was also licensed to practice law in Michigan and Texas. Jim was a mentor, counselor and advisor to everyone he met. Jim's passion was the University of Michigan Wolverines and he never missed an opportunity to attend their many bowl games. Jim had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. In his free time he loved to travel and study languages, history, the fine arts and the stock market. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Doris Yvonne; children Karen, Pam, Greg, Randy, and Tina (Randy) and Jennifer; grandchildren Jillian, Joseph (Nikki), Austin, Emily, Alyssa, Alexis and Evan; 6 great-grandchildren; his brother Richard; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Joseph Claude Bray; his mother Nellie Arlene Thomas and his sister Joyce Ann DeVary.
