Isabella DeGross

May 7, 2014 — November 3, 2017

Isabella Nicole DeGross, 3, was called home November 3rd, 2017. She was born May 7th, 2014 and lived with her family in the beaches area of Jacksonville, FL.

From the day she was born “Bella” was a fighter. Born with a broken heart (CHD), she excelled at filling the hearts of others with love and pure joy. She was our miracle baby. Our Angel.

Bella touched many people during her short time on earth. Everyone from the nurses and doctors who cared for her to a friendly stranger walking the beach, all experienced her pure, delightfully sweet spirit. She was always so excited and happy to be present with everyone; no fear, no prejudice, no judgement, a pure loving soul.

Isabella loved music and dancing. “This Girl is on Fire,” by Alicia Keys was her favorite song. It fit her personality perfectly as she never let anything stand in her way.

She is survived by her loving parents, Kristin Kollor and Jerrod “Paul” DeGross; precious sister, Amelia Kollor; grandparents, Robert Kollor, Erin DeGross and Pauline (Chuck) Piecara; and great-grandmother, Janis Ethridge; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless extended family and friends. Bella was predeceased by her uncle, Christopher DeGross, Great Uncle Thomas Kollor and Great Aunt Patricia DeAngelis.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm, November 11th, 2017 at The Old Plank Road Baptist Church, 8964 Old Plank Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32220. Pastor Jason Reid presiding.  Fellowship following the memorial at the church. Her mother requests attire that is colorful and comfortable.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff; nurses, doctors and therapists at Wolfson’s  PCVICU for all the care and support.
