Hunter Hodges

Hunter Jay Hodges, 15, passed away April 13, 2017. He was born January 11, 2002 in Jacksonville, FL. Hunter was known to many as their buddy. He brought so much joy to our lives. He was always quick to bring a smile to your face. Hunter’s love and joy for life were contagious. This wonderful young man who has gone home to be with the Lord and his brother Michael, was loved by many and will truly be missed. Psalms 73: 23-26 states “Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Hunter is survived by his parents Kevin and Laurie Hodges; brother, Matthew Hodges; maternal grandparents Terry and Sharon Fowler; paternal grandmother Alice Hodges. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael Zachary Hodges; grandfather Elmer Jason Hodges; great grandmothers Dorothy Jefferies and Madeline Fowler.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 19th in Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Ponte Vedra Valley.
