  Henry Taylor, 82, passed away August 29, 2024. He was born on January 3, 1942, in Fort Pierce, FL. He was a graduate of Paxon High School, where he swam and ran cross-country, and moved to Atlantic Beach in 1966. 

Henry proudly served our country in the US Navy during the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis, gaining the appointment of IC Electrician while stationed aboard the USS Saint Paul and the USS Haven. After his naval service, Henry worked for 36 years as Journeyman Electrician, first with Paxson Electric Company, and then with Miller Electric Company, from which he retired in 2004. He was a proud member of IBEW Local #177. 

Henry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy; son, Scott (Amy); daughters, Jennifer (Nic), Kelly (Jeff), and Christine (John); brothers, Steve Taylor and Sidney Taylor; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home on Saturday, September 21, at 11:00 am. Sheryl Adams, Spiritual Director of Trinity Parish St. Augustine and long-time family friend, will serve as officiant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McGraw Community Hospice.
