Henrietta Michael Hardman, 93, died on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Daughter of Joseph and Caroline Michael, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Hamilton Hardman.

Henrietta (Hank) was born in Jacksonville, Florida, attended local schools, graduated from Ocala High School, attended Florida State College for Women, obtained an x-ray certification from Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia.

Hank was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Atlantic Beach, the Selva Marina Country Club, and several bridge clubs. She loved to play dominoes and looked forward to friendly competition on Saturday nights with a neighborhood dominoes social group.  For many years she drove Meals on Wheels, and at the time of her passing had just completed her 11th year as a retired senior voluntary (RSVP) reader to kindergarten students at Joseph Finegan Elementary.

Hank is survived by her son Charles Michael Hardman(Martha), her daughter Lynne Hardman Morris (Doug), grandson Travis Hardman (Emily), granddaughters Kate Hardman, Caroline Morris, and Kathleen Morris, her brother Joseph M. Michael (Wanda), sisters Camilla Lusco (Sal), Patricia Kelly (Larry), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation with family will be held at Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home, 3600 3rd Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Community Presbyterian Church, 150 Sherry Drive, Atlantic Beach, Florida, on Thursday, July 28, at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Dreams Come True, 6803 Southpoint Parkway, Jacksonville FL 32216.
