Heather Riley

Heather  Lafser Riley, beloved daughter, sister and mother, age 37 of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2021.

Heather was always passionate about the environment and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida in Biology.  She worked for many years as a field biologist while living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana saving wetlands and the natural wildlife in the area.

Heather was also a creative and artistic person and when she moved to Jacksonville Beach following Louisiana, she began a new career and started her own photography business.  She was a talented photographer and captured many special moments that live on in her work.

Heather would tell you, that her greatest achievement was becoming a mother to her beautiful daughter. Heather loved her daughter more than anything and has raised and transformed her into the ballerina, ninja warrior, princess and the beautiful, smart girl she is today.

Heather is survived by her daughter, parents, her sister; her dogs, Bandit and Bella; her grandmothers, many aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of long-time friends.
