Harvey Scholl

Dr. Harvey Hampe Scholl, a cherished father, husband, and esteemed educator, departed this life on February 17, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on May 19, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, to Ben and Hermana Scholl, Harvey lived a life dedicated to nurturing minds and fostering academic excellence.

Dr. Scholl served as a Professor at Jacksonville University for many years, where his contributions to higher education left an indelible mark on both students and colleagues alike. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, embodying the values of service and commitment that characterized both his military and academic careers.

Harvey is survived by his beloved spouse of nearly 72 years, Sharon Scholl, his daughters; Laura Scholl and Lynn (Robert) Henderson, his grandchildren; Julie Henderson and Ross (Rachel) Henderson and his 3 beloved great-grandchildren. His legacy of love and wisdom will continue to resonate in the lives of those who had the fortune to know him.
