Grace Adelaide Griffin Ferranti

Grace Adelaide Ferranti (Griffin), age 75, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on March 28, 2024. She was born on March 14, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida. Grace spent the majority of her life in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach.

Grace attended Fletcher High School and graduated in 1967. She graduated from Clayton State University in 1974 with a degree in nursing.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Aimee Marjon Shariat, MD (David); grandson Emmett Giddens; former husband Abbas Shariat, MD; sisters Mary Sue Brown (Charles “Buddy”) and Laura Ann Griffin; brother Wimberly Neal Griffin (Ingrid); nieces Chelly Lynn (Keith) and Suzanne Paige Berse (Andrew); great-nephews Hunter Russell (Stacey), Chandler Berse, Tristan Emahiser, Ian Brown, Griffin Berse; and great-niece Payton Berse.

Grace wished to spend eternity at the beach that she grew up at, and her ashes will be spread there along with those of her brother, William Lewis Griffin, who passed away on October 7, 2023.
