Gerald Wilson Gray (AKA Jerry), 86, passed away on November 20th, 2024. He was born August 17th, 1938, in Sidney, Ohio, and retired in Jacksonville, Florida in 1981. 

Jerry pridefully served his country in the U.S. Navy for 23 years as a Chief Electrician. After retirement, he started Double J’s Repair Shop in Palm Valley with close friend and fishing buddy, Jerry McCoy. Besides his dedication to his work and family, he loved NASCAR racing and was an avid Ohio State fan. 

Jerry is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 51 years, Bening Gray. He has three sons, Jerry, David, and Edwin, and two daughters, Darcey and Susan. He is a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-grandfather to eight grandchildren. Jerry is also survived by his younger brother, Marvin Gray. 

Jerry/Dad/Grandpa will forever be missed and will continue to live in our hearts! He will be laid to rest at Jacksonville National Cemetery on November 29, 2024, at 11 AM with military honors.
