Fred was a “Red Coat” and Chair of the 1975 tournament. He also enjoyed traveling the world and spending time at his mountain house in Sapphire, North Carolina. His priorities were faith, family and friends.
Fred is predeceased by his first wife, mother of his children, Sally Fehn Robbins and his brother Thomas L. Robbins (Dian). He is survived by his beloved children Kimberly Criser (Marshall), Steven Robbins (Shellie) and Kevin Robbins (Paige), eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and brother in law Greg Fehn (Nancy). The widowed Fred found love again and married Nancy Hodge, adding four children to his clan: Stephanie Hodge Bassett, Christopher Hodge (Ginger), Timothy Hodge, Micheal Hodge (Laura) and ten more grandchildren.
