Frank Rizer

Mr. Frank M. Rizer, 93, of East Liverpool, Ohio. Born in November of 1923, has left us 27 June, 2017 to be with our Lord and Saviour.
Frank is a decorated World War II Veteran, who served with the 182nd infantry Americal Division during the battle for Bougainville in the Philippines at hill 260, as a lineman.
Frank returned home to East Liverpool, Ohio after the war and married Julia Cozma in June 1946. Together they had four children George, Donald, Marjorie, and Beverly.
Wife Julia, son George, and daughter Marjorie proceeded Frank in death.
He worked at Westinghouse in Pennsylvania as the shipping Manager for 36 years then retired to Jacksonville, Florida in 1990.
Frank is survived by his son, Donald Rizer of West Point, Ohio; daughter, Beverly Pierce of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; daughter in-law Sarah Rizer of Sulphur, Louisiana; and was the grandfather of 10; and great grandfather of 16.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 S 3rd St. Jacksonville Beach, FL.
