Eugene Nix, 72, went to be with Jesus on Aug. 31, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents TJ and Nina Cocker Nix; 6 brothers; and 1 sister.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Dorthy; 3 sons, Neil Nix (Angela), Keith Nix (Maria) and Terry Etchison (Nicci); 2 sisters, Sally Viohl and Maurice Christian; 1 brother, TJ Nix (Bonnie); 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, Sept. 17 in San Pablo Family Baptist Church, 3044 San Pablo Rd. S., Jax. FL 32224.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
