Elizabeth Pearse

Elizabeth Margaret Pearse, born April 11, 1922 passed away early Wednesday morning, June 22, 2016 surrounded by her family and loved ones at Baptist Medical Center Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
She is the beloved wife of Colonel Leslie Harter Pearse, mother of Linda Bruce (Bob), Robin Stetler (Brian) and Skip Pearse, sister of Edward Woodbury, Jack Woodbury, Ray Woodbury and Barbara Roskovich, and grandmother of Talli Connell (Brian), Leslie Lyons (Matt), Randy Bruce (Wendi), Lindsey Pearse, Lauren Stetler and Misa Pearse. She also leaves behind a multitude of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The most important thing to Bette was her family, friends and faith. She was the most generous, kind, loving and faithful individual and was cherished by all who knew her. Her infectious personality and wisdom were sought after and her smile would brighten anyone’s day.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 26th from 4-6pm at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 3rd St. S, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Food for the Poor-Father Tony or Cenacolo Community Village.
Catholic Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 27th at 11am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 545 A1A N, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082 with Father Tony Palazzolo as Celebrant.
