Elizabeth DeSalvo

Elizabeth Ann DeSalvo, 89, journeyed to Heaven on May 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Betty was born on August 10, 1928 to Mildred B. White whom preceded her in death in 2015. Betty was married to the love of her life, Joseph V. DeSalvo for 66 years. Joe preceded her in death on September 30, 2015.

Betty, Mom, MeMa was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Our sweet mother had a tremendous love for her family and always put them first. Her wonderful sense of humor and love will be missed by all.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Betty Miller (Rick), Patricia DeLoach (Randy), Cynthia McGill (Terry), Jody Peters (Robert); 11 grandchildren, Richard Miller, Russell Miller, Shannon Murray, Brittany DeLoach, Brent DeLoach, Adam McGill, Haley King, Cody McGill, Tori Peters, Robert Peters, Caroline Peters; and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family is appreciative and thankful for Betty’s wonderful caregivers, Patricia, Wini, Nakita and NeNe. They became a loving part of our family and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The family also wishes to thank Hospice Care, especially Erica for all they have done to bring comfort to Betty.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home. Interment will be private following the service.
