Edward “Ed” Davis Bigus, a man of unwavering commitment, undeniable kindness, and unbridled optimism, has left behind a legacy that will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

On April 3, 2024, Edward passed away peacefully in Jacksonville, Florida with his loving wife Marisol by his side. Although he may no longer walk among us, the memory of Edward's vibrant spirit and genuine warmth will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ed was Born on June 22, 1973, in Tampa, Florida, the son of Robert and Doris Bigus, his journey through life was marked by an exceptional dedication to his family, his career, and his passions.

Throughout his 20-year tenure at Apple, Ed exemplified what it means to be a true professional. As an area sales manager, he poured his heart and soul into his work, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and customers. He was a mentor and friend to many, but especially with Joe who he forged a lifelong friendship with. Ed’s love for technological advancements shone brightly in everything he did, as he strived to bring innovation and efficiency to the world around him.

But beyond his professional accomplishments, Edward will be most fondly remembered for the warmth and humor he brought to every interaction. His infectious smile had the power to brighten even the darkest of days, and his ability to make others laugh was truly unparalleled. He believed in spreading joy wherever he went, leaving a trail of laughter and happiness in his wake.

Edward's family meant everything to him, and he was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Marisol. Together, they shared a beautiful marriage filled with unconditional love, laughter, and unwavering support. His bond with his father was equally precious. Ed cherished the bond he shared with his father. Their daily conversations weren't just exchanges of words; they were moments of solace and empowerment, weaving a tapestry of understanding and mutual respect. For Ed, his father was more than just a parental figure; he was a mentor, a guide through the labyrinth of life. Ed soaked in the wisdom his father imparted. Robert's lessons transcended mere lectures; they were life lessons etched into the very fabric of their relationship. He taught Ed to value every breath, to embrace each day as a gift not to be squandered. Through his father's example, Ed learned to be diligent and dedicated, to take pride in his work, find fulfillment in service to others and to maintain an insatiable curiosity of the world.

Edward is now reunited with his mother Doris Ava Bigus who preceded him in death. He is survived by his adoring wife Marisol; his father Robert; his siblings Melody (Bob), Robert, and Robin; his siblings-in-law Maribel (Freddy) and Juan (Karen); his nephews and nieces O’cean, Antonio, Emily, and Annabelle; and his best friend Joe (Michelle) and their daughter Eva. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering love.
