Dr. Ellan Marie Schlinger Duke

Our beloved Dr. Ellan Duke, born October 1, 1960, went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2023. Dr. Ellan was a bright light in this world, and her legacy will continue to shine for all those whose lives she touched. Her faith in God and passion for serving others was evident in every aspect of her life. Her love for people was infectious, and she made everyone around her feel welcome and loved.

Through her practice, Dr. Duke helped countless people achieve better health and wellness. She had a heart for healing and always went above and beyond to care for her patients. Her kindness and compassion will be deeply missed by all.

Dr. Duke's greatest joy in life was her family. Her love for her husband, Tom, and her four sons was immeasurable. She cherished every moment she spent with them and loved being a grandmother to her five grandchildren. Ellan is survived by her loving husband Tom of 38 years, their four sons: Zachary (Toni) Duke, Matthew (Kendall) Duke, Jordan (Haleigh) Duke, Caleb (Megan) Duke and five grandchildren: Cali, Makinley, Everett, Hendrix, and Daniel.

Although her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, we take comfort in the knowledge that she has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father. Her memory will live on through her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.

We invite all to join us in celebrating her life at Southpoint Community Church, 7556 Salisbury Rd, Jacksonville, Fl, on May 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire us all. Shine on, dear Dr. Duke. You will be forever missed.

The Duke family will be receiving visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church before the service begins.
