Dorothy Joan Slack Eddins

Joan, daughter of the late James Warren Slack, Jr and Dorothy Marie Ash Slack was born in Louisville, KY, on July 7, 1952.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony (Tony) B. Eddins of Jacksonville Beach, FL; stepdaughter, Karen Eddins of Holly Springs NC; brother, James Warren Slack, III (the late Barbara Dove) of Lexington, MA; sister, Alice Marie Slack Collins (David) of Lakeland, FL; and brother Robert Glenn Slack (Kathleen) of Pasadena, MD. Joan was predeceased by her sister, Claudia Ann Slack Hilbert (Steve).

In addition, she is survived by two aunts, Helen Emerson Slack of Phoenix, AZ and Marjorie Ash of Louisville KY, five nieces and nephews, Robert William Slack of Cambridge, MA, Erin Collins Rittling (Phil) of Pittsburgh, PA, Heather Slack Mielke (Gary) of Westminster, MD., Lothian Buss of Durango, CO, and Jonathan Collins (Abby) of Orlando, as well as five great nieces/nephews, Samuel and Susannah Collins and Brooke, Mackenzie and Harper Mielke.

Celebration of Life service will be held on October 14^th at 4pm ET at the Beaches Vineyard @ The Atlantic Theatres.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that a memorial donation be made in memory of Dorothy Joan Eddins to the Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministery (BEAM).
