Donald A. Milner, 59, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 5, 2013. Don was raised in Ohio and New York, at the age of 20 he moved to St. Augustine. He graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in design and architecture and a master's degree in building construction. For the last 10 years, he has served as vice president of construction for The Pineapple Corp. of Jacksonville. Don's passion for design and construction science, eye for detail and commitment to quality were second to none.
Family, friends and colleagues describe Don as incredibly intelligent, compassionate and professional. We are lucky to have had him in our lives.
Don is survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years, Debbie Hartley Milner of Ponte Vedra; brother, Gavin Milner and stepmother Jaci Milner, both of Cleveland, Ohio; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his two brothers, sister and both parents.
