He was born September 23, 1952 in South Amboy, New Jersey and grew up in Piscataway, New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in engineering, which he put to use in the field of compressors and expanders. After an ambitious and successful career, he retired to Denver, North Carolina in 2016 and later moved to Ponte Vedra, Florida in 2023.
David is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rita; son, Christopher Linden (Veronica); daughter, Kimberly Linden (Nicholas); step-daughters, Elizabeth Howard and Rebecca Vance (Douglas); and step-son, Adam Howard (Phodjanee); grandchildren, Jakob, Kayla, Peanglada, Alyssa, Irisa, Nakane and Patrick; and siblings, Douglas, Marjorie and Donald.
Memorial services will be held in Allentown, Pennsylvania at a later date; and in Ouray, Colorado at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, https://donate.cancer.org/
