David Helm
January 24, 1932 — August 10, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce David Helm passed away August 10, 2107, surrounded by his family at home. Born Jan 24, 1932, in Warren PA, he served in the US Army and attended PSU and graduated with a Forestry degree. At Penn State, he met and married the Mighty Anna Mae "Mo" Webb and lived in Hermitage PA. They had 2 children, David Drew Helm of Youngsville NC and Heidi Helm of Santa Fe NM. His only grandchild Cody Dylan Paul preceded his death in 2014.
David was an Allstate Agent in Hermitage and was loved by virtually everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. We all remember "good morning Good morning" and his ever-present sunny disposition...
David felt very blessed when he met the second love of his life, Patty Gough. They have enjoyed a beautiful life together in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home.
