Born in Hinsdale, Ill., and a resident of Florida since 2005, Connor leaves his family and friends to grieve his passing and to celebrate his gift to us of his 17 years.

Connor touched the lives of many through his involvement in sports, cub scouts, and school. He attended Washington Elementary (Dixon, Ill.), Ocean Palms Elementary (Ponte Vedra Beach), Landrum Middle School (Ponte Vedra Beach) and Nease High School (Ponte Vedra). Having played baseball and soccer, his first love of sports was lacrosse.

Connor"s dream of becoming a firefighter, his intelligence, artistic abilities, his fun-loving, playful spirits and magnetizing personality will always be remembered by those he left behind.

Surviving Connor"s passing are his parents, Scott and Nancy Bresnahan; his brothers, Jordan and Taylor Bresnahan; as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and very close family friends.

Memorial Services will be held at Nease High School from 4 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at the stadium. Family and friends will also gather at St. Francis in the Field Church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, for fellowship and remembrance.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Connor Bresnahan Memorial Fund at any Compass Bank for a memorial bench to be placed in Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery.
