Colby Maddux Hamlin

Colby Maddux Hamlin 17, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away October 21, 2022. Colby was born October 25, 2004 in Jacksonville, Florida. Colby was a beautiful soul. He had a smile that was contagious and would melt your heart. He loved to play Super Mario games and he loved to build and collect all kinds of Transformers and would sit with you for hours to tell you all about them. He loved to play Left, Center, Right with the family and he enjoyed taking everyone’s money.

Colby is survived by his parents: Danny R. Hamlin (Kelly Smith-Hamlin) and Katie Elizabeth (Rick Bird); sisters, Jerrimee Hamlin (Landon), Danielle Hamlin, Brittney Hamlin, Savannah Smith, and Jaclyn Sundy (Austin); grandparents, Da & Nana McGuire; grandmother, Carol; and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. Colby is predeceased by: Nana & Papa, Big Shaw Papa and Nana Shaw, Memaw and Papa Rodgers, Aunt Kelley and Uncle Shane. To say the least, Colby was surrounded by LOVE!

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10am at Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
