Clarissa "Risa" H. Hill

Risa Hill, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023, with her devoted and beloved Husband and Mother at her side.

Born on November 27, 1957, in East Prairie, Missouri to Clo and Floyd Husk, Risa graduated from Fletcher High School and was a long-time resident of Neptune Beach, Florida. She worked for many years at Triad Financial and had only just retired in December.

Risa was fun loving and enjoyed the simple things in life, especially camping, vacationing in Daytona Beach, and sitting outside on her carport with family and friends. She was especially close to her granddaughter Autumn who lived with her part time.

She was preceded in death by her father Floyd Husk of Melrose, Florida; her brother Steve Husk of Melrose, Florida; and son Ronnie “Scooter” Hill of Jacksonville, Florida.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Kevin Hill of Neptune Beach, Florida; her mother, Clo Husk of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; her brother, Brian (Dee) Husk of Jacksonville, Florida; her daughter, Heather Hill of Jacksonville, Florida; her granddaughter, Autumn Castelo of Neptune Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Kourtney, Hayden, Caleb, Seth, Ryan, and Andrew; and a host of sisters in law, brothers in law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, 32250 (904-249-1100).
