JORDAN Christopher William Jordan Chris , 29, passed away suddenly October 10, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 15, 1983 in Annapolis, MD. He moved to the beaches 16 years ago, graduating from Arlington Country Day School. He received his AA degree from Orlando Culinary Academy in 2007. His passion was cooking; he also loved playing ice hockey and spending time with family and friends.
Chris is survived by his loving parents, Benjamin Donald and Joanne Jordan; long time girlfriend and love, Amy Robinson, and her son, Caleb; grandmother, Betty Jordan; uncles, Richard Jordan and Joseph Todd Mitchell Sr. (Kim); aunt, Shirley Jordan and many loving cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph Ben Mitchell, Jr., Charlotte Ann Mitchell and Benjamin Jordan.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2012 in the chapel of New Life Christian Fellowship, 2701 Hodges Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32224, (904) 223-6000. Interment will follow in Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up for Caleb Michael Robinson. This fund is for the son of Chris s long time girlfriend, they were to be engaged in December.
