Christian Nees Jr., 71, passed away on November 20, 2017. He was born on November 8, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA. He grew up in Roslyn, PA. Chris proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. Retired from Anheuser Busch. Chris enjoyed being outside, fishing, kayaking, riding bikes and supporting our Jacksonville Jaguars since the inaugural season as a season ticket holder.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara; daughters, Beverly (Stephen), Jennifer (Gerry); son, Christian Nees III; grandchildren, Ashtyn, Cole, Jake, Heather, Bella; great-grandchild, Elisse; sister, Judy Mee; nieces, Debbie (Duane), Suzanne (Ray), Christine (Brian). He was preceded by his parents, Christian Nees Sr. and Dororthy V. Nees and sister, Kathy.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 27, 2017 in Quinn-Shalz. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 28th, in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz, 3600 Third St. South, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, with a procession following to Greenlawn Cemetery.
