Charlotte Mullins, 106, died peacefully March 31, 2023, in Atlantic Beach, Florida. She was born in Charleston, WV to Frank and Dennie Middleton.
Charlotte spent much of her professional life as a private secretary in the many cities she lived, courtesy of her husband’s many US Army assignments. Her ‘Army training’ and natural organizational skills kept her ready to go at a moment’s notice. She recounted moving 42 times before they settled in Atlantic Beach. Throughout her life, Charlotte loved spending time walking the beach, playing the organ, painting, and coloring, writing, and working the daily crossword puzzle. She enjoyed life and was blessed with a loving family and many caring friends.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Hal; and survived by her daughter, Lynne Hahn; granddaughters, Missy Cook (John) and Tori Hahn (Craig); great grandchildren, Johnny Cook (Marlena) and Jenny Cook; great great grandchildren, Hutchens and Rhet; as well as nieces and nephews.
A ceremony will be held April 12th, at St Thomas Episcopal Church in Columbus, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Charlotte’s favorite charities, Wounded Warriors.
A special thank you to Beaches Community Hospice for their caring and compassion and to the caregivers at Fleet Landing.
