Carson Leapley

Carson Joseph Leapley passed away, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida where he grew up and drove fast.

Carson was born on the beautiful summer morning of July 10, 2000, at St Lukes Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert and Jeanie (Daugherty) Leapley. He was baptized on Sunday, September 3, 2000, by Monsignor Logan. Joseph P. Daugherty and Deborah Rogers were his God Parents.

Carson attended Little Stars Preschool and Palmer Catholic Academy from Pre K3 to 8th grade. He received his First Holy Communion and was confirmed at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Carson graduated from Ponte Vedra High School in May 2019.

Carson loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, he loved shooting guns, working out and driving fast cars. He worked on his prized muscle car and loved to drive his Dad’s Porsche. In the spring of 2024 Carson obtained his real estate license and began a career in luxury real estate working alongside his mom, Jeanie.

Carson is survived by his loving and dedicated parents Robert and Jeanie Leapley; brothers, Garrett and Sean; sister, Whitney (Krzysztof) Lesnicki; grandmother, Patricia Leapley; grandfather, Joseph P. Daugherty LTC (ret); aunts and uncles, Susie (Ritchie) Bragg, Coleen (Robbie) Hosack, Micheal (Larissa) Daugherty, Joe Daugherty, Mike Gerstner, Debbie (John) Rogers, John Leapley, and Marci Moffatt; cousins, Maddie Hosack, Emma Hosack, Bo Hosack, Isabella Daugherty, Column Daugherty, Evangeline Daugherty, Maddie Daugherty, Payton Bragg, Delaney Bragg, Brian Gerstner, Katherine Gerstner, Shannon Gerstner, Julia Rogers, Robert Rogers, Sierra Newton, and Jacob Leapley; nieces and nephews, Emerson, Maggie, Joseph and Peter.

Carson is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Catherine Evans Daugherty; his paternal grandfather, Robert A. Leapley Sr.; his aunt Alison Daugherty Bauer; and several of his high school friends.

The Leapley family will be receiving friends and loved ones from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025, in Quinn Shalz Funeral Home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, with a Rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ponte Vedra Beach followed by a reception at following at Palm Valley Outdoors at the Palm Valley Bridge. The Leapley family invites you to join them as they continue to celebrate Carson’s life and legacy.
