Carolyn Bove

Carolyn Papania Bove, 87, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016. She was born and raised in Towson, Maryland, nurtured her family in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA and enjoyed senior living in Orlando and Jacksonville, Florida.  She is survived by her husband Gabriel M. Bove, Sr. of nearly 60 years; her children, Gabriel M. Bove, Jr. (Phyllis), Donna Bove Pernicano (Keith), and Joseph A. Bove (Sharon); and her grandchildren Leah Pernicano Heinly (Karl), Kara Pernicano, Francesca Bove, Andriana Bove, Joseph Bove, Jr., Amy Pernicano, and Keith Pernicano, Jr.

Carolyn graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 1950 and delighted in teaching kindergarten and first grade for several years. The essence of her life was the fellowship of family and tradition, love and unity centered around an Italian heritage, fulfilled by faith, gratitude and joy. A light of the world, Carolyn lived by God’s Word,  gave selflessly, was compassionate, caring and friendly to all.

A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
