Carl Roger Hashey

Carl Roger Hashey was born August 10, 1935 in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He passed peacefully on January 5, 2024 after a prolonged illness. He was 88 years old. He served in the US Air Force and the Florida Army National Guard. Carl retired from the Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Control after 30 years service. Carl's service to the community includes serving in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Duval County Road Patrol, and as Fire Chief with the Duval County Fire Department (Garden City). 

Carl is predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Beatrice and his siblings John (twin), Frederick Jr., Jahn, Karen, and daughter Priscilla Merkel. He is survived by his sisters, Gayle and Sheila; ex-wife Carol; daughter Christine (Victor) and son Terry (Natalie); grandchildren Marie Johnson (James), Alan Jowanna, Zachary, Gregory, Krya and Luke Hashey; great grandchildren Ailise, Ethan, Emory Johnson and Kaleah Jowanna. 

He will be interred in Uxbridge, Massachusetts at a date to be determined.
