He was a native of Ft. Thomas, KY, born to Carl A. and Anna C. Bloesing on November 28, 1928. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Jeanne.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Michael R., Steven C. and Barbara Joanne Rang; grandchildren, Russell Roen, Karis Bloesing, Ronnie and Rachael Rang.

He retired from MAC Papers, Inc., having been associated with the McGehee family and the paper industry for most of his business career.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean war.

He was a graduate of Stetson University in Deland, FL. While at Stetson, he was an officer and charter member of the chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Since moving to Ponte Vedra with his family in 1972, he was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church having served on the Vestry, as Stewardship Chairman, as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, and as a Trustee and Chairman of the Grant Committee of the Christ Episcopal Church Charitable Foundation.

He served on the Board of the Glenmoor Retirement Community.

He took an active interest in his community having served as President of the Ponte Vedra Community Association and as President of the Ponte Vedra Beaches Coalition.

There will be a Memorial Service held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 am in Christ Episcopal Church with Interment in the memorial garden.
