In Loving Memory of Brenda Lemmer-Miller (1954 - 2024)
Brenda (Baker) Lemmer-Miller, age 70, peacefully passed away on September 30, 2024. Born on May 21, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan, Brenda’s life was a testament to hard work, love, and a passion for making the most of every moment. While she spent her early years in Saginaw, Brenda’s heart was often found at Torch Lake and Bay Harbor, Michigan, where she cherished many family memories. Upon retirement, she embraced the beauty of Saint Augustine, Florida.
A dedicated and successful real estate professional, Brenda thrived as a Broker/Owner for over 40 years, leaving her mark on the industry and those she worked with. She retired in 2019, looking back with pride on a career she built with unwavering dedication and integrity.
Brenda was the devoted wife and best friend of 38 years to Larry Miller. Together, they built a life filled with love, adventure, and partnership. Brenda’s greatest joy came from her family, especially her daughter, Lindsay (Michael) Phillips, and her stepchildren, Trenton (Jamie) Miller and Bayne (David) MacKenzie. She was a beloved “Bebe” to her cherished grandchildren, Palmer and Sydney Phillips, Benjamin, Shephard, and Andersen Miller, and Evan and Brooklyn MacKenzie. Her love for them was endless, and she found immense pride in watching them grow.
Brenda is also survived by her three loving sisters, Pam (Robert) Jarema, Marsha Curry, and Dianna (Douglas) Cramer, as well as several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Penny Mae, her adored Cocker Spaniel, was her constant companion, bringing joy to her life daily.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Joan and Gerald Baker, and her sister, Sheila. While Brenda’s physical presence may no longer be with us, her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A Memorial gathering to Celebrate Brenda’s Remarkable Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Ponte Vedra Beach Club, 200 Ponte Vedra Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project, causes close to Brenda’s heart.
Brenda’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
