On September 11, 2017, Betty (Duke) McIlrath, age 88, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, beloved wife of James “Jim” McIlrath; stepmother; loving aunt and grandmother passed away after a long and strong battle with heart disease.
Lover of life, Betty led a full life of travel, golf and bridge she shared with her beloved husband Jim McIlrath. She was a skilled, competitive bridge player, savvy businesswoman and golfer. She loved the beach, hunting for shark’s teeth, gardening and growing orchids.
