Beckii Zinn Narusas passed away peacefully on March 3, 2019 with her husband Victor at her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on July 6, 1958.
Beckii was a loving wife, mother and friend. She grew up in Texas and as a young adult moved to California where she met the love of her life, Victor Narusas, in 1980. They married and together raised their two sons, Nickolas and Christopher. The family lived in California and Colorado before settling in Atlantic Beach, Florida in 1992. Beckii was an active member at St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Jacksonville Beach. She taught Pre-K at St. Paul’s for over 20 years, beloved both by staff and students alike. Her wit and humor were legendary. Beckii was a life-long avid athelete. She also loved to cook and was well known for her culinary skills.
Beckii is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Victor; sons, Nickolas (Sarah) and Christopher; parents, Jimmie and Tommy Zinn; sister Vickii; nieces and nephews; and the rest of her family and friends.
Beckii was predeceased by her sister, Terrii Morris.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 with a Rosary at 2:30 p.m. in St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Reverend William Kelly as celebrant, followed by a reception in the Family Life Center. A celebration of life will continue at Culhane’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, 967 Atlantic Blvd.
