Barbara A. Wroten

Barbara Wroten passed peacefully on January 20, 2022, in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 84.  

Born and raised in Rhode Island but moved to Jacksonville, Florida 50 years ago to marry Jack Wroten. Barbara was a member of the Weaver’s Guild.  Later she worked as an artist and worker at First Street Gallery.  She delighted in meeting customers and explaining the different processes used by artists.  Besides being an Artist, Barbara enjoyed traveling, swimming, and spending time with her friends.  

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Jack Wroten, and is survived by 8 nieces and nephews of Rhode Island, and 2 nieces of Atlanta, GA.  She was extremely blessed with the best of friends and neighbors.
