Anton Strange

STRANGE - Anton Age 81, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2015. He was born to the late Alexander Sim Strange and Lily Ann Barnett Strange on June 8, 1934 in Detroit, MI. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. In 1991 he started Kwik Kopy Printing, a family business, thru 2004. He was diagnosed 25 years ago with Leukemia and with faith and perseverance he lived a full and happy life. Anton loved photography, technology, reading the Bible, Jazz and making children smile, especially his grandchildren. He valued diligence, organization and integrity. Family members include his loving wife of 56 years, Marjorie Jane (nee Hammond) Strange; sisters, Jean Coleman (Bruce Sr.) and Mae Morton (Jack); children, Laurie Anne Battaglia (John), Mark Alexander Strange (Melanie Faith nee Haggard) and Kenneth Allen Strange; and grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Hrywnak (nee Battaglia) (Seth), Joseph Anton Battaglia, Thomas Allen Battaglia, Emily Faith Strange, Kyle Anton Strange and Audrey Ann Strange. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, in Palms Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville Beach.
