Anthony “Tony” Joseph Ceribelli, 74, passed away May 23, 2017. He graduated in 1961 from Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach where he was well known for his basketball talents. He spent many summers working as a lifeguard, attended Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia, proudly served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Florida Power and Light after many years of service. Tony enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening, and traveling, but was at his happiest when cooking for his many friends.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Betty; sons, Anthony Joseph Ceribelli Jr. (Lisa), and Steve Thomas (Chris); daughter, Melanie Zamarripa (Phillip); stepson, Thomas Stephen Gaddy (Beverly); stepdaughter, Laurel Denise Gaddy; grandchildren, Madison and Tyler Zamarripa, Mathew Thomas, Jessica Ceribelli, and Savanna and Jaqui Thomas; brother, Daniel Ceribelli; sister, Cosetta Todd (Steve); nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Ceribelli; mother, Frankie Alice Ceribelli; and brother, Joe Ceribelli.
A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held at a later date.
