Annelle Griffin

Annelle Stem Griffin passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born on April 23, 1934 in Evanston, Ill.

Annelle went to high school in Albany, GA and then she attended the University of Georgia.  She was a member of Alpha Delta PI and it was at UGA where she met the love of her life, Dick Griffin.  Also known as “Alice in Wonderland”, Annelle was the life of the party, never met a stranger, and always had a smile on her face.

Annelle is survived by her sons Rick and Bill (Jennifer), her daughter Laney (Gerald) and grandchildren, Shane, Ryan, Sam, Tripp, Brad, Lyndsey, and Zachary.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Dick Griffin.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral home (3600 3rd St. South, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250) on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
