Anne Towery

Anne Cheshire Towery, 80, passed gracefully in the arms of her family on January 15, 2025 after a valiant 2 year fight with ovarian cancer. She was born on August 1, 1944. Raised in Jacksonville, FL, she moved to Crescent City, FL in the late 90’s and returned to Jacksonville, FL in 2019. 

 Anne attended college at Georgia Southern University and went on to have a successful career as an executive assistant in the finance industry for many years. She was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling the world with her family and friends. She lived a beautiful, full life and is deeply missed. 

 Anne is survived by her sister Ruth Jordan (John), brother Don Cheshire (Sherri). She was a beloved Aunt to 5 nieces and 4 nephews along with 13 great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband (George), her parents (Paul and Kathleen), sister (Anita) and brother (Paul).

 A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 Third St S Jacksonville Beach FL 32250. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her name to Community Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation.
