Ann Tillis

Ann Simmons Tillis, 90, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL passed away July 18, 2020. She was a longtime Jacksonville resident, owning Canterbury House Antiques in Avondale. She later moved to Amelia Island where she spent 25 years enjoying the beach lifestyle.

She loved sports, golfing and was an avid Florida Gators fan.

Ann was a classy, warm hearted, and resourceful woman. People were drawn to her because she made everyone feel special.

She is survived by her son, Steve Tillis (Julie); daughter, Nancy Friedell (Ron); brother, Henry Simmons (Charlotte); and granddaughter, Hailey Ann Tillis. Predeceased by her husband, Tom; and daughter, Susan.

A private graveside service will be held in the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
