Angelo Giovagnoli, 89, passed away Jan 18, 2021 at McGraw Hospice following a battle with cancer. He was born Dec 31, 1931 in Sandusky, Ohio to Marino and Anna Giovagnoli.
Angelo grew up loving to race sailboats on Lake Erie, graduated from Ohio State as an industrial engineer and proudly served our country as an officer in the US Air Force, doing a tour of duty in Guam, and the Air Force reserves. Angelo worked as an industrial engineer for Owens Illinois, Alton Box Board Co in Milwaukee, Wisconsin then in Alton, Illinois, and Naval Air Station Jacksonville before retiring.
Angelo is survived by his wife of 65 years Raffaella, sons Glen, Mark (Rosalind), Dan (Sarah). Grandchildren David, Nicole (Caleb), Angela (Weston), Gino, and great granddaughter Morgan. Angelo is predeceased by his brother Tony (Anita).
Service and Interment will be in Sandusky Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
