Andrew Kostecki, beloved brother, uncle, husband and friend, passed away suddenly but peacefully on December 28, 2023, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on September 6, 1961, in Warsaw, Poland, Andrew's life was a testament to kindness, love, and dedication to his family and community.
Andrew led a fulfilling career as a Machine Operator at General Electric. His commitment to excellence and hard work made him an invaluable asset to his colleagues and the company. His attention to detail and strong work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of his peers. Andrew's dedication to his craft was evident in every project he tackled.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Andrew was a man of many passions. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting and motorcycle riding. These activities brought him great joy and allowed him to connect with nature in a profound way. However, what truly set Andrew apart was his unwavering commitment to giving back to the community through volunteering. He selflessly devoted countless hours to various charitable causes close to his heart.
Family was paramount in Andrew's life. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and always made an effort to show up for family events and gatherings. His presence at celebrations was always warm and comforting, making everyone around him feel valued and appreciated. Andrew had a special bond with his nieces and nephews.
Andrew's memory will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to know him. Denise Kostecki, his longtime spouse; Ben Kostecki, his devoted brother; Kimberly Mueller, his caring sister; Alyanna Nelson, Emilie Siska, Izabela Siska, Laxxiene Kostecki, Alexis Kostecki, and Alec Kostecki and Sidney Kostecki, his adored nieces and nephews; as well as numerous extended family members and friends grieve the loss of this remarkable man.
Andrew leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His proudest accomplishments include his tireless efforts in raising funds for causes such as Toys for Tots. His selflessness and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on his community.
During this time of grief and reflection, it is important to remember how Andrew lived his life; with a bright smile and an infectious sense of humor. His genuine laughter was contagious and could light up any room. Andrew's unwavering faith was a guiding force throughout his journey, providing comfort and solace during both joyous and challenging times.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home located at 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 12 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church located at 545 A1A N, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082, followed by a committal at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery at 4750 Palm Valley Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.
