Alvina Beaty

Sept. 10, 1929 - March 16, 2016 Alvina (Vinie) W. Beaty, 86, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a person of strong faith and true dedication. Raised in Charleston, SC, she made her home in Birmingham, AL and Atlantic Beach, FL. She was a member of Palms Presbyterian Church and was active in the Presbyterian Women and the Chancel Choir. Vinie is survived by daughters Sally Offen, Nancy Beaty, Mary (Jeff) Edgar; son Frank (Elizabeth); and grandchildren Margretta Beaty, Andrew Offen, Frank Beaty IV, Peter (Madeline) Offen, Jonathan Noranbrock, Danielle Field and Nicholas Noranbrock. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and a daughter Libby Beaty Noranbrock. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 2 in Palms Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville Beach, FL. The family thanks the staff of Beach House Assisted Living for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the music or Presbyterian Women programs at Palms Presbyterian Church, or to the charity of your choice .
