Alex Shaw

SHAW Alex Shaw, 45, passed away February 25th, 2016. He was born November 9th, 1970 to Barry and Margaret Shaw and spent his entire life residing at the beaches. Alex graduated from Fletcher High School in 1989 and from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1992. He was very proud of the lifelong relationships he kept from both schools. Upon graduation, he joined the family CPA practice and became partner in Shaw, Shaw & Shaw CPA firm. Alex's love of the outdoors; camping, spring hunting, and foraging, was only surpassed by his love for his daughters, Jade and Paris. In addition to his daughters, he is survived by his parents Barry and Margaret, brother, Travis and his nephew Preston. Alex also leaves behind countless family and friends who dearly loved him. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 4th in St. Paul's Catholic Church, with Reverend William Kelly as Celebrant.
