Alex Phillippe

Alex C. Phillippe, 33, of Jacksonville, FL passed away suddenly on December 31, 2017 at 1:58 PM. He was born August 13, 1984 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. In 2002 he graduated from University Christian High School. He was employed at Vanguard Electrical Contractors, Inc.

Alex loved to fish, golf and was a competitive pool player. Alex loved his family and friends dearly. He always enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas and most of all he enjoyed going to birthday parties.  Alex had a great passion for life itself and he enjoyed going on vacations with his family and friends, he also loved to travel.

He is survived by his loving parents, Terry C. Phillippe and Gini Backus Phillippe; his surviving families, are Phillippe, Backus, Snowden, Jennings, Jarman, Pridgen, Miniard, Berry, Georgie and a loving grandmother Frankie.

A Memorial Service in celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Chet's Creek Church, 4420 Hodges Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32224.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida, in memory of Alex, 555W. 25th. St. Jacksonville, Florida 32206, (no flowers please).
